Nach 5200km treffen wir endlich in Alice Springs im Northern Territory ein. Die Stadt liegt ziemlich in der Mitte Australiens. Ungewoehnlicherweise regnet es hier. Das Staedtchen beherbergt erneut etwas spezielle Leute. Vom Outback Farmer, ueber die Crocodile Dundees zu den Aborigenes. Leider treffen wir auch auf viel sogenannte "trouble drinkers" die dem Alkohol voellig verfallen sind. Da wir etwas muede sind von der Reise besuchen wir bloss das Reptile Centre wo wir Frank den Goanna treffen und eine Olive Python um den Hals gehaengt bekommen. Sehr intressantes Erlebniss.
Alice Springs ist auch die Home Base der beruehmten Royal Flying Doctors welche fuer Notfaelle, egal wo im outback, ausruecken.
Fuer uns ist hier endstation mit unserem Campervan welchen wir tip top geputzt wieder abgeben.
After 5200km we finally made it to Alice Spring in Norhtern Territory. The town lies pretty much in the centre of Oz. Unuasually it is raining here. The town hosts some very special characters, from outback farmers over crocodile dundees to aboriginees. Unfortunately we also come across some "problem drinkers" which are completely addicted to alcohol. Because we are quite tired from our journey we decided to just visit the reptile centre were we met Frank the goanna and had an olive python hanging around our neck, a special experience.
Alice Springs is also Home base of the Royal Flying Doctors which come to help for emergenies, no matter were it is in the outback..
