Gili Trawangan ist eine von 3 kleinen Inslen die der Mutterinsle Lombok vorgelagert sind. Autos und Motorraeder wie sonst ueblich sind nicht existent und werden durch Pferde-Taxis ersetzt. Den Polizeiposten sucht man ebenfalls vergeblich auf der Kleininseln. Was jedoch nicht zu uebersehen ist, ist der weisse Sandstrand der um die ganze Insel fuehrt. Das Korallenriff ermoeglicht ein unvergessliches Schnorkelerlebniss bei dem man auch Meeresschildkroeten sieht. Leider ist die Haelfte der Insel mit Hotels und Bars uebersaet. Natuerlich haben wir aber wieder ein ruhiges Plaetzchen gefunden zum relaxen... seht selbst.
Gili Trawangan is one of the three Islands which are located just off shore of mother island Lombok. Cars, motorbikes and traffic is inexistant on the Gilis and transportation ist enabled by horse carriages that run round the island. Also a police station cannot be found on this little paradise. However, the white sand beach that circumnavigates the island cannot be missed as well as the snorkeling spot with its sea turtles and many fish. Unfortunately half of the coast is covered with bars and hotels but of course, we found a quite spot to relax... check it out!
